Marching into Month 3

March has been such a wonderful month for us! Rose is still sleeping through the night! We took her in for a 3 month check-up and she weighted in at 13.3lbs and measured 24 inches. She is in the 87th percentile for both height and weight. Her doctor was super impressed with her development and said she was advanced. =) Her motor skills are continuing to improve as she now reaches out and grasps things in front of her.

Eric is still practicing walking with her, causing her to have very strong little leg muscles. She has also discovered her voice and has taken to banshee screams while playing with her toys. Her eyes are still blue, but more of a gray blue now. We are wondering if our blue eyed red haired daughter might be turning into a gray eyed blond haired babe.

Rose has recently discovered our cat and it is way cute to see them look at each other. Rose has pet Karma a few times and they both seem to like each other. Although they usually keep their distance Karma will come check on Rose if she is crying intensely.

This third month has been a happy one for our little family and we are so very blessed to have each other. As the weather is warming up here in the Carolinas and as Rose continues to grow in leaps and bounds, we have ventured out of the home more and more. Rose seems to truly have her parents genes as she seems to be a traveler and an overall trouper! She also loves just sitting out on our patio and looking at the creek and trees. She is a delightful baby and for those that have yet to meet her, we are looking forward to your visit! Our door is always open to our friends and family!

A Leap Through Month Two

<3 Our Valentines Day Family Picture <3

 February has been such a great month for us! Rose has been such a blessing and each day is so fun! She has started sharing her smile and attempts to hold cooing conversations with us at times. Rose began to laugh and play more this month too!

 She sleeps through the night now and seems to always be in such a great mood after a good 8-10 hours of sleep. We seriously owe a lot to our Fisher Price rocking sleeper, she loves it and sleeps great in it!

Her hair has begun to turn to a more yellow blond from the reddish blond she was born with. She enjoys getting her nails filed down and Laura is excited to give Rose her first pedicure once she is a bit bigger and her little toes have grown more.

In Rose's second month of life she had quite a few adventures including a few trips to the mall and a visit from her aunt and cousins. While the cousins were here we all went to the Discovery Place, Dave and Busters and Monkey Joes, quite a busy month all in all!

When Rose is not out having fun she enjoys siting in her swing and getting all dressed up, her favorite time of day is when daddy comes home!
